Having started off working in Singapore for four years, Reynilda has worked in Hong Kong since – with only three families, one for nine years. She has been responsible for children of all ages, including newborn twins. It would be fair to say that there is probably not much that Reynilda has not had to deal with over her many years spent caring for busy families, and the length of time she has spent with each family shows a true love and commitment to the task at hand. You may want to get in touch right away to avoid disappointment…

Having spent two years caring for young children in Hong Kong, Analisa is now looking after the needs of an 84-year old, as well as running the family’s home. She was raised to be responsible for household chores, as well as taking care of aging parents and siblings. She would love the opportunity to work in Canada, which would allow her to continue to support the financial needs of her own family and provide them with a better life. With her skills, experience and chosen career, she would, in fact, also be improving the quality of your family’s lives. A win-win situation.

Mary, who is from a large family and is herself the mother of twins, assures that “her positive character towards work” will benefit your family. She also has nurse and caregiver training and is First Aid and CPR certified. But one of her greatest endorsements is the fact that she was offered a second contract to work for a family with two young children who reciprocate her love for them. The kids also love her cooking and she enjoys spending time reading and colouring with them. Mary is talented and experienced, and genuinely loves working with children.

Joan both loves children and caring for them. But she is also an “open-minded person, optimistic and mature in dealing with challenging situations”. Her caring experience extends itself to physical disabilities, autism, allergies, and she is also First Aid and CPR certified. She has cared for newborns and currently is looking after two young school-aged children. Her talent for and education in management comes across in her ‘Dear Family’ letter as she is confident that anything can be handled with a clear schedule. Efficient and responsible, Joan will work and serve your family in a professional, cheerful and caring manner.

Her current employers in Hong Kong have a sweet, loving 3-year-old daughter for whom Monette has full responsibility, as the parents work on Mainland China. She is hired to “not only take good care of this child but also to raise her to become a better person, despite being away from her parents”. Monette recognizes the amount of faith these hardworking parents have entrusted her with, and her experience from this and previous domestic employment has taught her to become adaptable and reliable, with an ability to maintain “sanity throughout the house”. Although, due to financial difficulties, she was unable to complete her nursing degree, she views herself as “a nurse, parent, teacher and a friend” to the young and impressionable girl in her care.

Imee has had some life challenges of her own and she is currently using her coping skills, training and knowledge to care for a 12-year-old girl with Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder, including assisting her with her physical exercises and daily homework. Imee is open-minded and is not afraid of challenge. She has found in her experience as a nanny that she is treated as a member of the family by her employers and their children. She describes herself as goal-oriented, competent, well-motivated and trustworthy – ideal traits to help a busy family deal with day-to-day life more easily.

Annabelle’s philosophy that family is of the utmost importance and everyone should work together to take care of one another is derived from the fact that she herself comes from a large family of nine siblings. With this belief in mind, she has chosen to work abroad as a nanny to try to help support her loved ones. Annabelle has a background in nursing which has helped immensely in her current position where she is looking after two children. The youngest has a unique chromosomal disorder, leaving her unable to walk, sit or stand on her own and, although she is six years old now, she is still like a newborn. In addition to regular childcare, Annabelle takes the child to appointments and assists with her physiotherapy. Annabelle’s employers describe her as honest, responsible and trustworthy. Her dream is to come to Canada where she can help a family care for their children, while at the same time contributing to the care of her own family back home.

Merly’s love of travel and culture has inspired her to look abroad for work as a nanny. She is fascinated by differing cultures and equally intrigued by how similar each background can fundamentally be. Merly worked for three years in Saudi Arabia as a nanny to a newborn and a seven-year-old. Now working in Hong Kong, caring for a six- and ten-year-old, Merly’s duties include taking care of the children’s needs, maintaining a safe and healthy environment, and managing the household chores. Her professional and life experience, coupled with a Bachelor in Elementary Education make her an excellent candidate for any family where learning or adaptability is important.

With more than three years’ experience caring for toddlers and school-aged children, Rechilda is currently working with her second employer in Hong Kong, where she cares for a newborn, a toddler and a 7-year-old. When the oldest is at school, Rechilda enjoys taking the younger girls on walks or to the playground. While acknowledging that caring for a newborn and toddler can be quite a challenge, Rechilda manages just fine. She describes herself as hardworking, efficient, patient and calm under pressure. She truly loves children and enjoys her work immensely. Rechilda would be proud to care for a family here in Canada, while enabling her to help support her daughter at home.

Coming from a family of nine brothers and sisters, in addition to her hands-on experience with her five-year-old son, and her training in CPR and First Aid, Macaria is a valuable addition to any family. She understands that the key to a happy household is to be flexible and organized, while allowing time to also be playful. Macaria takes pride in her profession and feels confident that her skills and experience will help her find a wonderful family to work and care for in Canada.
